PSYCHOLOGIST

My counselling practice is open to both individuals and couples who are curious about, and eager to be engaged in, an ongoing developmental process.
In this work, I utilise diverse therapeutic methods, tailored to a client's (or a couple’s) specific needs, inclinations, and potentials.
Individual sessions—virtual or in-person—are either twice-monthly (two 90-minute sessions), or weekly (consecutive 55-minute sessions), with a requisite initial commitment of 6 months.
Couples/Relationship sessions–virtual or in-person—are weekly, for either 60 or 75 minutes, with a requisite initial commitment of 4 months.
My training is based in Humanistic and Positive Psychology and has been honed over the course of 20 years as a counsellor. I hold an MSc from the University of East London and an MA from the University of London, Goldsmiths College. I am an accredited Couples/Relationship counsellor, trained at The Grove Practice in London. My background also includes certification, under Dr. Itai Itvzan, in Mindfulness-based Meditation.
In working with individuals, some of my areas of specialisation are: increasing overall well-being; thriving through significant life changes; response-based trauma recovery; healing from abuse, in particular, coercive control; processing the emotional intricacies of separation and/or divorce; navigating infertility or a decision to remain childfree.
In working with couples, I specialise in: developing conscious communication; enhancing every day joy, together, in practical ways; understanding and moving through obstacles to intimacy; navigating roles within the relationship, including parental ones; challenges connected to being childless or childfree.
I welcome the opportunity to assist anyone who desires increased self-acceptance and -awareness.
